Monday Ramblings

***I accidentally hit "publish" before I was done with this, so if you saw an earlier version with no pictures, I'm sorry. This is the correct one!***

How was your weekend?
Mine was pretty fantastic.
The highlights?
I got to spend some time with a few of the people that mean the most to me, including myself. It's been a while since I spent an afternoon/evening out ALONE. After a kid's birthday party I intended to hit some thrift stores, but realized I hadn't eaten anything but frozen yogurt (at the party) all day. So, for the first time in a LONG TIME, I ate dinner by myself IN PUBLIC!! I decided to stay on that track and went to THE MALL. I really don't know the last time I went into the mall. It's been quite a few years at least. It was overwhelming. I ended up in the bookstore of course.

Sunday, I convinced Pat to go to a craft festival in Orange Beach. We parked a little ways from the festival location and rode our bikes down. After looking at all the booths
and checking out some of the exhibits,

we decided to ride our bikes for a while longer before heading back.
It was a beautiful day and we were so glad to be out enjoying it!

Other than that, I did make a new necklace on Friday that I shared on several social media outlets to get opinions. I might as well share it here. My question is about the lace. Pat doesn't like it, I kinda do. The response I've gotten on Facebook and Twitter sides with Pat . . .lose the lace. What do YOU think?
I apologize for the quality of the picture, it was taken with my phone as we headed out the door for Margarita Friday.

In other news, I've had a few jewelry pieces featured in some treasuries.

And, I've listed some items in the shop. These earrings are the newest addition.
