Tumblr Eye Candy

How'd you like my kitchen story yesterday?
It's one of my favorites.

After all the wordy-ness of yesterday, I'm going to take it easy today and be thankful that it's Tumblr Tuesday. I found HEAPS of lovely bits this last week, but I'm only going to share a few.
Buttons and a Rainbow = SWOON!

Getting My Share On

If you saw the Crafty Hope Jewelry Facebook Fan Page yesterday, you'll have noticed that I was actually able to get crafty (YAY). Hopefully once I get some housework done (dang litterboxes) today, I'll be able to bust out some more creative masterpieces!

In the meantime, let me share some of the great items I found on Tumblr over the past week.

Pretty Busy

Today's another "Tumblr Tuesday" so let me share some of the pretties from there before I speak of bussiness-y things.
Crochet Tree
Recycled Organization
Rather be Thrifting
Margarita Cupcakes
Amazing Illustration

Since my craft room update on Friday, I've gotten just a tad more done. However, the bulk of it has just been filing away scraps of paper with scribbles of ideas and sketches, pages from magazines with styles I like, and packets of papers with tutorials. I've also jumped back in on working my way through information on honing my business skills. Unfortunately, all of this information was just in a pile on top of this storage cart I showed you Friday.
Yes! That stack on top has all kinds of useful information, but you wouldn't know it while it was hidden under paper towels. Lovely, huh?

I mentioned yesterday that I had some tasks to complete in the craft room. I was able to complete these without causing too much of a disaster while getting an idea of how well the new organization is working out for me. I like it!! YAY!!

I've got some lunch plans across the Bay with a friend of mine and might sneak off afterward for some thrifting while I've got the time. I had an idea of how to solve one of my storage issues. . .maybe.

For now, here are some new earrings made from polymer clay discs that I made. I really think these are a lot of fun!
Copper Disc Earrings

As well, these awesome long earrings were placed on sale today!
Got a Little Swing Earrings - 15% OFF

If I'm going to make it for lunch, I need to get my butt in gear!

Getting it Done

Not to toot my own horn too loudly, but I'm pretty proud that I finally, actually got some tasks accomplished yesterday! Hurray! Here's hoping today is as productive.

Since it is Tuesday, let me share with you some of the cool stuff I've found on Tumblr this week before I get to anything else.

Just to let you know, I think Pat had a nice time of his birthday yesterday. We went for dinner on the water
and then for drinks at The Wharf.

As you can tell, it was a bit overcast yesterday evening,
but still a good time was had.

Now, to get some lunch and bust a move on some chores and the craft room re-do. I still haven't made it to the messiest, most worked-in area of the room. THAT'S going to be a BIG TASK!!! I'm still just trying to go through stuff and purge the items that I've had sitting around without use. I've yet to find many items to help with the redecoration/reorganization of it. But, I'm letting the ideas flow for now. I'll share the progress later in the week.

Tumblr Tuesday (4/26/11)

The youngest niece spent the night last night. We've already had a BUSY day and it's not even 1pm yet. She's taking a movie break and I thought I'd sneak in a quick blog post.

Here's some of the fabulous-ness I found on Tumblr this week.

Loving Those Links

Just dropping in to share a few quick links with y'all.

I listed these uber-girlie earrings
Pretty Pink Earrings

There's another giveaway going on at Beaducation for Craft Month.

How about some Totally Random links:
And finally. . .some Home Decor ideas/projects. Of course, these are all Sewing-related, so it'll be a while before I ever learn to make them. Instead, let me just share the pretty ideas!!
Short and sweet, how about that?

Feverish and Falling Behind

What does it mean when you wake up Monday morning with a fever? Does that mean you had a good weekend or not? I'm going to go with GOOD weekend, or at least with heck-a-busy weekend. Sooooo crazy busy that Pat and I were both sick on Valentine's Day. That's not too big of a deal since we were planning on celebrating V-Day this coming weekend anyway.

So, what kept us so busy this weekend? Port Trio (Pat's band) played Friday, Saturday was consumed with my Mardi Gras Ball (decorating and hosting it), and Sunday was a day at the beach (literally).

Of course, as I've already stated, I woke up with a fever yesterday and spent all day battling it. I'm feeling a bit better today. However, this week is just going to be a bit off. There will  be no meal plan (sorry) and I have no Valentine post for you. . .oh well. Instead, there will most likely just be randomness. (Hurray?)

First random topic - when not sleeping yesterday, I spent my time trying to decrease the amount of blogs in my feed reader. I stumbled upon a Valentine giveaway for some Industrial Chic pieces and found out this morning I had won. Check out Kristen Robinson's blog  and her Valentine post to see the goodies I'll be getting.

Secondly, I was featured in another treasury. This time the treasury is made of Etsians from the Red Dirt Crafters Team.

There's also a new collage bangle in the shop.
French Blaze Bangle

Since I'm going with random today, here's a few links that fit that description.

And, a few general Crafty Links

Now, I'm off to get a few more tasks complete and maybe even FINALLY start on my Valentine Project(s) for Pat. Here's hoping your week is going much better than mine started off!

Celebrating the Little Victories

As I begin to seriously contemplate my New Year's goals and resolutions; I realize that I should have already made these decisions. At least I've got a few more days to nail them down.
In the meantime, let me fill you in on what I HAVE accomplished.

There was a bit of time spent in the craft room today. However, it wasn't as long as I had hoped since I've been feeling a bit under the weather. This is what the craft desk looked like when I left it.

As well, there's a new listing in the shop
Hard Candy Earrings

While I didn't do very much work (just left a comment) for this next accomplishment, I can't help but mention it. Today, I found out that I won the Thursday Giveaway on Andrew Thornton's blog. It's a wonderful collection of beads from SueBeads. I can't wait to play with them!!

And, since I'm really trying to get back into regular blogging habits, here's some links for you.
~*Crafty Links*~
Seeing as the weather has turned cold even down south where I am, my thoughts turn to fiber projects. Here are a few crochet ones. Maybe one day I'll learn to crochet something other than a single chain stitch. Anyway.
Totally Random Tuesday Links
So that's it. Back to work thinking over those resolutions. What's on your New Year's List?

Eye Candy All Over the Place!

It hit me last week that in two weeks time, the first items I listed on Etsy will be expiring. I think I might have mentioned this. I've been pondering what to do, and for now I don't think I'll be renewing them. Instead, I created a SALE section in the shop and placed those first items (as well as the Halloween ones) there. All the items in this section (so far) have been marked AT LEAST 20% OFF. Some of them have been marked down even more. Here's a sample of some of the items that are in the for SALE section.

Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Turquoise Necklace
SOLD!! Copper Prism Earrings SOLD!!
All Things Bright and Beautiful Bracelet
Desert Waves Necklace
Of course, this is just a few of the items I've placed on sale. You should head over there and see what else is marked down. Please note that the items that are NOT Halloween will be expiring in less than two week's time. So if you want something, you better snatch it up now!!

In addition, I added a two new pairs of earrings to the general shop:
Modern Lace Earrings
Just a POP of Color Earrings
There are PLENTY of other items from which to choose in the CraftyHope Etsy Shop. Head over and check it out!

If you're here for some fun links or Crafty Links, I'd hate to disappoint. Here we go!
