March Challenges and Inspirations

I love a good challenge. It always helps get my creative juices flowing, even when I'm not feeling inspired to create. As such, I often find myself on the hunt for challenges and keep my eye out for the ones I know occur regularly. Since I'm all about sharing and really enjoy seeing how others approach the same inspiration, I like to make sure there's a list out there of the challenges and inspirations of which I'm aware. This is that post!

  • Each month, Sarajo's husband (Eric) gives her a photo for design inspiration. She shares it on her blog for the rest of us to use too and calls it the Honey Do List. This month, Eric selected a picture of an ornate door in Prague. The reveal is on March 23rd.
  • I'm a huge fan of the Art Elements Theme Challenge each month. A member of the team selects a general theme and they open the challenge to any blogger who wants to participate. As well, you can design in any medium you desire. So fun! This month, Jenny chose Gnomes for the theme. To participate, you must have a blog and comment on the original post letting Jenny know that you want to play along. The blog hop is scheduled for March 28th.
  • Also. March 28th is the deadline for submitting to Art Bead Scene's Art Journey #2: The Luminous Beauty of Victor Zaretsky. For this challenge, you must use an art bead to make a piece inspired by one of the selected artist's highlighted works. Entries should be posted on the Art Bead Scene Lounge page on Facebook. See the blog post of all the details.
Unfortunately, that's all the challenges I've been able to find so far this month. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you know of any I may have missed. I can't wait to see what you create!
