I Heart Macro: Bowling and Raining

Vertigo be damned. . .I really want to get back on track and cease sitting around the house all dizzy.
I go to a real doctor's office tomorrow (as opposed to the Urgent Care center I saw on Tuesday).
Hopefully they'll get it sorted out!

It's overcast and rainy today so I'm really going to push myself to get the house in order and maybe try to get some work done. . . starting with this blog post.

My mardi gras society had a bowling function yesterday.
There's just something so pretty about the marbling in/on a bowling ball. . .they're like big ole beads too!!
I just had to snap a shot before my really poor performance!

See other close up shots at Studio Waterstone's I Heart Macro!

Let me also mention that Beadwork by H is having a Summer Bead Giveaway! Check it out!

Time for me to get back to work. . .

  2. Me too!! I think it's a sinus issue, so I've got my fingers crossed that that's all it is!
    You're welcome!

  5. My kids both grew up going to saturday morning bowling in the youth league and loved it. have you seen the clear balls with the objects inside them? They have such beautiful colors now, no more black with speckles like when I was young! Hope you feel better soon.

  6. Laura- That's awesome. The most bowling I've done lately has been on the Wii. There's a huge difference!

I haven't seen those clear balls. How cool!

    Thanks!

  7. Vertigo is for the birds! No, that isn't even funny. I've had it twice in my life, once when I was in high stress and the last time a few years ago and the doctor diagnosed me over the phone saying it was likely a virus (had sinus going on at the same time) and to take Sudafed and drink lots of fluids.

It was during that last time that I found out how common it really is for women to get vertigo at some point in their lives.

Be good to hear when you're all better.

  8. Janet- Oh how I hope there's a simple solution like Sudafed and water for mine. I do think it's sinus related since I've felt some tightness in my left ear for a few weeks. But, I don't have a primary doc (at least not until tomorrow!) to get the relief I need. I'm just glad it's not the full blown vertigo that keeps so many people from functioning. Instead just dizzy, dizzy. . . I should have an update some time tomorrow, yay!

    Thanks for your concern. :)

  11. Kimmy- Same here. Once you put some weight on the ball (as opposed to a Wiimote) I don't know what I'm doing!!
