Today's post will be short and sweet. . .I hope. Sometimes these blog posts just spin out of my control. I don't know how that happens.

• Over at How about Orange is a recommendation for a site that has Free fonts and web design resources. I just love fonts, don't you? And free ones are the best!! Well. . .economically speaking.
• After my mention of wanting to get published the other day I swapped e-mails with several of you who commented. I got lots of support and I THANK YOU for that. One person who I went back and forth with was Kashmira from Sudafulee...always in bloom. I was reminded that she recently wrote a post on how SHE found her way into Jewelry Stringing Magazine. Her encouragement, a link from her, and her post about how nice the Stringing staff are have me prepping to send out a few items next week. It's a big step and I'm nervous, but still so very excited! Thanks to all of you!
• Mill Lane Studio wrote a tutorial on how to make Triangle Jump Rings.  What a really cool idea!

This post has already taken my quite enough time. The internet at my house is still being a pain and I've already had to rewrite half of this once. It looks like we'll be getting a new router over the weekend. Blarg.

Link. . .needs a name. . .day

I've really sucked at posting here the past two weeks or so. Now that I'm sure Jury Duty is over, I can resume a routine again I hope.

A few weeks back I mentioned starting to do a link dump about every week. I got a few suggestions from y'all as to what to call it other than link DUMP, but I haven't pinned down just the right name yet. For now, let's just say I'm sharing some links again.

Part 1

Since I really like doing collage, I'm always on the lookout for free printable images to use. Here are a few sites that I've found that offer free images.

• Graphics Fairy: I actually subscribe to this site in my feed reader as she puts up an image or two everyday. With it in my reader, I can make sure I don't miss any new images.
• Vintage Holiday Crafts: These are neat vintage images that are holiday themed/related.
• Magic Moonlight Studio: This one offers up a variety of cool images/photographs every few days or so.
• Dover Publications: You may have seen Dover's great books of images for sale before. You can actually sign up on their site (clicking my link will take to to that page) to get an e-mail from them each Wednesday. In the e-mail is a link to their free images for the week. It's called the Dover Wednesday Sampler.

Please note that with these "free images" there are often some restrictions on how they can be used. I know that Dover doesn't like you to use their images more than a certain number of times. As well, some sites prefer that you don't use their images in items you plan on selling. Just make sure you check out their terms of use.

Part 2

I'm just going to share one more link with you today. As I said two weeks ago, I've been saving some of these links for a good long time. This one is from October of 2010. . .so far behind, GAH!! Back then Kristen Robinson shared a video about adding texture to resin. I've FINALLY gone back and watched it. She shares a a pretty neat trick so I figured you might want to see it as well in case you  missed it.

Little By Little, I'll Get It All Done (ThTh)

You know those days when you feel like you accomplished NOTHING?
Have you ever had one of those, but in retrospect realized that you really were more productive than you thought?
That was yesterday.
I worked (some) until I could no longer stand the internet dropping every few minutes, I blogged, I crafted, I shopped, I made dinner, I watched a movie - soooooo productive. Of course, then again - the house is a mess, clothes need to be washed, and I have a ton of crafts in progress and can't seem to finish them. Hmmmm - let's just say I'm happy with what I did accomplish and recognize what I didn't. There now!

On to "Thrifty Thursday" Here are a few more 'creative' links.

• I love that you don't have to buy those expensive pre-packaged mixes now that these Easy Bake oven recipes are available.
  
• How would you like some creative ways to recycle ordinary objects? There ya go!
  
• Here are some recycled art links for those of you interested in how others are using 'trash' to make art and other objects.
  
• Hopefully, you've done better than I have and have already gotten your calendars for 2009 (my iPhone has one, so I've avoided a paper kind so far this year.) If you haven't; jump on over here for some FREE 2009 calendar links.
