Welcome to this first blog post here on my NEW WEBSITE! What the what? It’s been a long time coming, and I finally just had to bite the bullet and accept that it might not be perfect, but I can work on all that along the way. I hope!

So, let’s get to another one of my quick, round-up-style posts.

What’s Finished?

The Seek Gather Create challenge is up and running again for August 2026. You can watch me pull this Week 3 assemblage together in the YouTube video.

What’s in Progress?

Straight from my Instagram stories, I stole this image of a tin and tassel ghost earring design that I’m working on. I actually made a very similar pair for myself many moons ago and decided recently that maybe someone else might like a pair.

What’s up Next?

Of course, I expect to participate in Week 4 of Seek Gather Create, but before that, I’ll have an Inspiration Trove video available.

And, if you’re looking to see me in person - I’ll be at Hello Gallery on Friday, September 4th from 6-8pm for First Friday Artwalk. Honestly, I don’t know what I’ll be demonstrating yet, so if you have any suggestions…let me know! Hahahaha!

What’s Had My Attention?

On the recommendation of a good friend, I’m working my way through the “Dungeon Crawler Carl” book series by Matt Dinniman. It’s up my alley, but takes some getting used to. I’m on the second book and pretty sucked in.

I’ve also gone down the rabbit hole of sorts in learning to use Procreate on my iPad. I won’t be making any masterpieces soon. But, it’s nice to know how to use some of the tools we have at our disposal.

What’s Filled my Cup?

While picking some of the zinnias in my little flower bed, I had this butterfly (a Gulf Fritillary) land on me and the flowers. It was absolutely magical.

Now, it’s time to get back to working on this new website.
